Saxophonist, Composer, and Loop Station Artist

Noah Peterson

News: 12/5 -

Rumor's abound about a Christmas project coming out just in time for the digital holidays?  The recording is done, the mixing is almost done, we're kinda ready on the back end.  Will it happen?  Tune in... and see. Exchanged some emails...nothing yet.

In other news West Kings Highway has a great New Year's Eve show set up.  And you're invited! San Antonio Elks Lodge #216, Dec 31st, $25, 8pm - Doors (Music starts at 9:30) Heavy hor d'oeuvres, champagne toast, door prizes! Click here for details and tickets.

Two shows this week that'll keep you all heated up from the inside out:
West Kings Highway at Sancho's Cantina - Friday Night 7 to 9pm.
Full band and we're itching to get down. Get ready for some fun!
Saturday Night at the Bang Bang Bar! Bigwood, La Chichada, and Volcan - Bigwood and Volcan are always fun and they bring everything they've got, every time. La Chichada is set to have our best show ever. Me, Chris Bigwood Ewing, Anthony Garcia, and Kenny Nutting have finally got that little band whipped into shape - BOTH of our percussionists - Chris Lawson and Andy Beres will be there for extra dose of holiday fun. It's our last show of the year! Come on out for a hot night of music!

Your "Stream of Conscious" update:  Had a killer rehearsal with La Chichada.  First time I felt like that band really was living up to its potential.  Solid all the way though, tight, everybody was listening, time was well spent.  Got my MIDI cables - haven't done MIDI since the 90s...should get some time this afternoon to play around. Putting together a plan for the next 2 years.  Pretty excited about it.  Feeling good, feeling blessed!

Don't forget to check my calendar!

His innovative and tech-heavy Solo Sax Sessions is a web of magical, musical, mystery. Using electronic effects this on-the-fly, observable-orchestration is a musical experience that must be seen to be believed.  Funky grooves, tropical tunes, and New Orleans blues are all on the menu. Presenting original music this show has something for everyone. And it’s as much fun to watch as it is to listen to.  It is a foot-stomping, hand-clapping, soulful good time of music and stories.

Noah is available for hire as a saxophonist, composer, producer, rub-board player for fill-in work, recordings, and tours.  He also teaches music lessons.  Noah is a festival producer and writes for www.loopinglive.com.  His articles can be found by clicking here.
